Quahogs Seafood Shack in Stone Harbor

Lobster roll and mahi burrito were really wonderful. The shrimp cerviche the best I’ve ever had. We will be back!

My girlfriend and I ate here about a week ago, and everything was terrific. We ate in the enclosed outdoor area instead of inside and really enjoyed the entire experience. The service was excellent, as our server Mathew was very polite and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and authentic, and the food was delicious. We recommend the littleneck clams and PEI mussels! Will definitely visit again in the future.

Have been to Quahogs so many times. This last time was so disappointing. We were waiting at the bar to order drinks. It was very crowded and busy. The bartender seem to be so frustrated and angry. I smiled at him when he was looking down the bar to help customers. And he yelled at me and told me he would get to me when he could. I mean he literally yelled at me I hadn’t said anything I was really just so happy to be there and that was the end of that. In the past of friends and family. I will no longer do so because I was made to feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Had a large possum walk into the dining area while dining here Shack is an accurate description. Left message about it with return call.

Went here the other day. Great service and from all staff members. From the hostess to the bus boys everyone was so kind and polite. No signs of being frazzled by anyone despite the heavy workload that each person seemed to have. Would recommend to a friend. We had an usually large party and they did their best to fit us all next to each other which really showed us that they cared. Most people would not have done that. Food was delicious I had the land and sea the ribs were phenomenal

This was not at all what we anticipated. We heard great things. We found the menu kind of limited. Although the server was friendly enough, it seemed as if he wanted us to order quickly, be served quickly and split. Our entrees were pretty average. Disappointed.

Food was mediocre and overpriced. They survive on their name alone. Update to owners response... The first time we visited your restaurant it was ok. The second visit the service was terrible slow, the portions light and the food was barely luke warm. I wish I could give a better review, but our meal was not very good. It was an awful lot of money for mediocre food and service.

I literally cannot say enough about how amazing this food is. They take standard seafood recipes and twist them into unbelievable tastes and textures. I had blueberry BBQ sauce! What!? This is a foodies destination for sure, focus on the specials, and try everything! We ate a lot for a family of 4 adults and one toddler for under $200! Amazing! And BYO! YUMM

In tough times through the virus in Spring 2020, ordered curbside takeout last evening and Quahogs came through!! The process was very easy online, well-organized and handled efficiently. The food was outstanding. Thank you.

What an amazing meal! We had the lobster rolls as an appetizer and they were delicious! We have never had lobster rolls so great. The restaurant does not offer beer, so you will have to bring your own. They do have a list of wines, we had the Quahog's white wine, a little expensive for the quality you get, so your are better off bringing your own wine. If you are in the area, this is a place you MUST visit. The plates are not affordable, so be ready to pay a hefty bill.

Been visiting stone harbor for 20+ years. Just went to this place for the first time this year. Hands down, it was the best, and most fresh seafood I have ever had anywhere at the shore. Highly recommended and good prices as well.

Was in the mood for lobster and it came out half cleaned and half cooked.. then offered rib and chowder as replacement... the chowder was not even close to good. Then when bill came tried to charge us for the lobster meals. We had to bring it up that they charged us for what was sent back. I guess they were hoping we would pay the bill without checking. Very dishonest way to deal with the situation. Manager did end up making it rite. The estalishment is more interested in getting you in and out and not so much on quality. I don't recommend this place.

usually it's a 5* .unfortunately not this time food was ehh and the temperature in was hot as hell .. quahog needs to step up there game a good start with the bar..but come on make the place look nice with matching chairs at the very least and air conditioning.. us the customer are already paying top dollar there..

Interesting menu. Good place for casual dining. All dishes were delicious, especially their devil eggs, fish rib and tuna bowl.

No longer a BYOB - no problem - but then why does your web description still say “laid back byob”. ALSO, if you are going to no longer allow BYOB bottles, at least have a decent wine list. Your wine list sucks and when we asked the waitress if we could bring the wine we brought she (rudely) said no. (You were a BYOB forever, how about a little notice and cooperation). Then when I asked about beer (bc the wine list sucks) I asked for the lowest alcohol beer (waitress laughed bc she obviously didn’t know) and brought me back a beer with 7.3% alcohol. (Which was opened and I didn’t look at prior to pouring in my glass). Sounds like small details but why bother when there are so many good restaurants in stone harbor. Your food tastes mass produced anyway. Won’t be back.

Dinner was amazing from the fish paco ribs to to shrimp and peach salad with balsamic drizzle to the seafood bakes and scallops, all are superb. And dessert was yummy. Make the trip but make reservations.

Pacu pacu ribs & grilled octopus skewers were so tasty I'd just order them again twice instead of moving on to an entree my next visit. Staff was friendly & very knowledgeable about menu & specials

We ate here twice in our week stay and loved the food! The kids loved getting Shirley temples with the shark filled with grenadine. My only nah was the second time we were there the waitress, I think, Crystal was not attentive at all. We asked the bus boys for our drinks and ketchup. We love the food and drinks. The margaritas were awesome! We all had a great time! Can’t wait to visit again!

Best food in Stone Harbor, BYOB is an added bonus. Fresh seafood with a latin twang, they have the winning formula for sure. Knowledgeable staff, you can't go wrong with a single thing on the menu.

Solid 3 doesn’t look like much from outside but part of the inside is very nice which is where I sat then they had a more casual patio..great fresh oysters raw on the half shell and got some streamed combo of stuff that tasted great but sadly was cold but I think that’s due to my girls getting all fried food which takes longer.. there also was a ac vent directly over my food that dropped a couple drops on my meal and head I’m not a germaphobe so I didn’t really care but mentioned to waitress and just said she’d alert the manager instead of maybe offering something extra or to comp something givin I spent 140$ including drinks but still overall great experience but I’d say overpriced.

Awesome food and great service. The food was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. I would definitely recommend thg this place for a date night. I had a Watermelon Mojito that was very tasty.

Our first time at Quahog's. It was amazing. The food, the drinks, the staff were fabulous. Not a bad thing on the menu... We tried lots of different items. The pacu fish ribs were more than I hoped for. We will be back to see Daniel and Doug for shore😁

Great place to try some unique seafood dishes. Love the shore feeling of the place.

Creative seafood dishes served in a thoughtfully decorated space. Not BYOB, full service bar.Street parking on a one way street. Indoor and outdoor seating with complementary chickpea starter. We had a 15 minute wait after our reservation time because of a shortage of menus. Our patience was rewarded as the menu is top tier and the food is fresh. Will return!

THE BEST RESTAURANT in Stone Harbor!! You need to come here! Drinks are amazing. We came every night for the same drink. The bartender, Daniel, is a magical drink master!! Order the passion fruit marg if it's available!

Just ordered for the first and last time. Bad food, bad customer service.I have never tried to return food before but this was terrible. We threw $100 of food in the trash and we The soups were broken and oily, the lobster mac had no sauce or flavor, the quesadilla was oily and mushy. Called back after opening the food 5 min after picking up and explained this My fiance is an executive chef and I have been a server for 10 years. I totally understand the frustration with a call saying your food was not good .. but I offered to bring it back to be seen and fixed or refunded and they told me not to bother they would not do or refund anything because they supposedly made it fresh. Never have been so disappointed in food or customer service in a restaurant.

First time I ate there and tried the Mahi Mahi quesadillas for lunch. Disappointed that the fish didn’t seem fresh and a bit rubbery. I had planned to try them for dinner but not so sure I will now.

I ate at Quahog's with a large group dinner. The service was excellent. I also really enjoyed both the appatizers and entrees. It all worked together really well. Their specials added a different element to the meal. The restaurant is BYOB; bring your favorite beverage to enjoy.

Got sick from bad shellfish. Read the reviews from this past summer, 2019. Quality has gone from great in years past, to just nasty and inedible spoiled bad food for 2019. What a shame. They must have changed owners or chefs or something. Never coming back.

The food was great, although I still think Matthew's in Cape May Court House has the best seafood in the area. But the service and ambience were severely lacking. Despite having made a reservation, our party waited for 30 minutes, even seeing a party of the same size that entered after us seated before us, and no word of apology was issued when we finally were seated. It seems like the place was overbooked in the interests of profit. A water bottle was plonked down on our tiny table for us to serve ourselves with. The space was crowded and loud, which was compounded by the soundtrack. The music was not bad but just too loud and they did not turn it down when we requested. It would have been acceptable for a bar, not for a restaurant--despite being at a small table, we had to shout at each other to be heard.

What an interesting place and menu. The exterior is remiscent of a boardwalk joint (at least the take out side is), but it's elegant, if a tad dimly lit, inside. Theirs is not an extensive menu, but it's an interesting one. A bit pricey, but worth it. The fish ribs were to die for, and the guacamole was sublime. I would have licked the bowl if the linen napkin ambiance hadn't swayed me differently.There's indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor being a very large, covered patio. Perhaps licking the bowl might have gone unnoticed outside. Regardless, this place serves an eclectic array of seafood based treats, with a Brazilian flair, and, in season, is not to be missed.

Good seafood, decent serving sizes, friendly and accommodating waiters.

7/3/19I went to Quahog’s with my family and we were a party of 5. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server told us about drink specials and the food specials. She was very attentive in the beginning but as the mealwent on; she was less attentive and at one point seemed annoyed. The bus boys seemed confused. 4/5 us had great meals but my sister in law ordered her steak medium and it came out well done. When we told our server; she did offer a new steak. When that steak came out; it was still not medium but my sister in law ate it because she was starving and who who wants to wait for a third steak? The French fries were great as was the seafood. If you have 1 item that is non seafood; I would expect that the chef would know how to cook it. I am glad there are other restaurants in Stone Harbor because I will not be returning.

Great food and costumer service!

Used to be one of Stone Harbor's best restaurants - simply prepared, fresh seafood options that would let the quality of the product speak for itself - but at our most recent visit (Summer 2019), everything was overwrought, overthought, and completely lacking flavor. I like the effort to incorporate more diverse entree options (paella, casado), but literally everything we ordered was a disappointment (except for the oysters), especially given the price. The bar is a nice addition - a glass of wine and fresh oysters is still worth the visit.

Awesome space, unique to modern stone harbor. A great place to really enjoy some deliciously flavored food.

Great seafood, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Had an excellent experience overall with a large group for dinner (10 people).

Food overcooked. Ketchup on table is spoiled. Manager is unprofessional. They know they've got the summer crowd who is willing to accept below par food at an expensive price. One and done is still profitable for them. They have no desire to improve based on their responses to other poor reviews. Maybe the board of health will do everyone a favor an shut them down,

Food is ok. Two tables seated after me were served their appetizers before the waitress approached our table for our order.

This place is great. Food is excellent and they looked after our kids like they were their own. Can't recommend enough.

One of the best meal I have ever had. The service was awesome. The atmosphere was great. I felt like I was eating at a hidden gem, literally hidden. They have awesome specials and regular selection. It was hard to choose one because everything looked so delicious. I highly recommend it if you want an amazing meal on a casual night.

Just plain Great

Casado and calamari was fantastic, empanadas also really good. Huge menu, lots of great choices. Cocktails were also really good. Long list of nightly specials that were all tempting. Service was fast and friendly, particularly for a crazy busy beach restaurant. Make a reservation and try Quahogs if you are in Stone Harbor.
